As Victory Therapy Center transitioned to the new facility in Roanoke, there were unique needs associated with getting the property operational. There were over 2,500 hours donated to the task, with many organizations “adopting” the cause to bring groups out to help achieve the goal. There was also considerable need for materials and several companies stepped forward to assist, donating tens of thousands of dollars in a wide variety of products.
Tasks ranged from refurbishing the four existing buildings on the property to adding several of the new features to the property such as parking lots and fencing. The goal of creating a World Class facility to serve people with needs would not have been accomplished without the dedication of many.
