VOLUNTEER WITH VICTORY THERAPY CENTER
Today, Victory Volunteers are stepping up to provide positive changes in the health of our clients.
Behind every success story, there is a volunteer — someone like you. Times are flexible and training is provided. We have a variety of volunteer positions. If horses aren’t your calling, not to worry, we can use your expertise in many other ways.

Horse experience is helpful but not required, we will train you!
We do not offer volunteer hours for court ordered service
Yes! We love hosting groups for workdays at Victory! Each volunteer will need to sign a one-day visitor pass/liability waiver. Our preference is for groups no larger than 40 and Friday afternoons are usually the best day since we don’t have riders at that time but we are flexible and will work with your group. For youth groups, there needs to be one adult per 10 youth. Contact Gretchen, our Community Engagement Manager, at [email protected] or 682-831-1323
Volunteers hours are available:
- Mondays – Thursdays 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Fridays & Saturdays 8:00 am – noon
Horseriding is exclusively for our clients engaged in the therapeutic riding programs. Our insurance does not cover volunteers riding horses.
Volunteers at Victory do a variety of tasks including: rider support, horse care, barn upkeep, facility maintenance, fundraising, office work, lawn care, and more! Horse experience is helpful but not mandatory.
Organizations that run background verifications are actually not allowed to share reports, so Victory will need to run our own background verification.
New volunteer orientations are typically held on the third Saturday of each month with a few exceptions. RSVPs are required and space is limited. To RSVP, please contact Jaclyn at [email protected]
It’s easy! The registration process is:
- Complete & submit the volunteer registration form
- Complete & submit the background verification form*
- We do ask that volunteers also cover the $15 fee to conduct the background verification form.
- Attend a new volunteer orientation session
*A background verification form is required for all volunteers 18+ years of age but are not required for minors. If a youth volunteer is still active when they turn 18, a background verification form will be run at that time.
To volunteer independently, the minimum age is 14 years old. Persons aged 12 & 13 may still volunteer, but has to do so alongside an adult companion who has also completed the volunteer registration requirements.
