VOLUNTEER WITH VICTORY THERAPY CENTER
Today, Victory Volunteers are stepping up to provide positive changes in the health of our clients.
Behind every success story, there is a volunteer — someone like you. Times are flexible and training is provided. We have a variety of volunteer positions. If horses aren’t your calling, not to worry, we can use your expertise in many other ways.
Here is overview of our volunteer program:
To volunteer independently, the minimum age is 14 years old. Persons aged 12 & 13 may still volunteer, but has to do so alongside an adult companion who has also completed the volunteer registration requirements.
The volunteer registration requirements are:
- Submit a completed copy of the paperwork, links below*
- We do ask the new volunteers pay the $15 fee to run the background check*.
- Attend a new volunteer orientation.
Volunteer orientations are generally the third Saturday of each month and RSVP’s are required. Emailgretchen@victorytherapy.org for more details and to RSVP
*Note that the background check and $15 fee doesn’t apply to volunteers under the age of 18. Only the adult volunteer is required to submit the $15 fee & background check release form. If the youth volunteer is still an active volunteer when they turn 18, they will complete the background check process then.
Volunteers do a variety of tasks ranging from barn work, horse care, rider support and fundraising. No horse experience is necessary – we will train you!
